Field International produce a range of Aircraft Tow Bars for multiple manufacturers, and platforms. Airbus and Boeing are two examples.
The custom jigs were designed and manufactured by Field International (UK). They allowed a pair of wings for the Airbus A330 and A340 which were manufactured in Chester (UK) to be loaded on a Baluga aircraft and then flown to Toulouse (France) for fitting.
Prior to the use of the jigs, a single wing was flown per trip, which increased delivery time and cost.
